Ernest was recommended to me by his brother Maurice whom I shot a few years ago. And yes, good look run in this family.
Ernest is not your usual Australian with his exotic look as he has Egyptian blood and it gives him permanent tan (damn him). He is huge soccer fan and the shoot was during the world cup and he could not stop talking about it and got me rolling my eyes to the back of my head a few times. (hehehe) He is a very polite young man and easy to work with.
I shot Chris in July 2012 and his modeling career has taken off since with his latest work in Samsung TV commercial. I have been wanting to work with him again so I dropped him a line and he was happy to do a shoot again.
Though I was a bit nervous whether I could deliver something better for him for this shoot if not this will be a testament that old dog cannot learn new tricks, you will be the judge. :)
When the shoot started, I have noticed that Chris still remembered what I want and gave...
This is my first Sigma lens ever and wow I am impressed. Sigma has made such a buzz with their Art series lenses and the 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art is their latest.
From the first look and touch I was drawn to it straight away. It looks very handsome and luxurious, the build is fastastic got the real pro feel to it, dare I say even more so than Nikon 85mm F1.4G. I love the feeling of focus ring and the lens hood, however, when the lens hood is on it is a bit harder to put on the lens cap.
